    ✓ The short version: when you use the core GlassCut tool, your images never leave your device. There is no server for us to receive them on, so we cannot see, store, or lose them.
  

1. How the image editing tool works

GlassCut's background-removal tool runs entirely inside your web browser, on your own computer or device. The image you select or drop into the tool is processed locally using an AI model that downloads once to your browser. At no point is your image transmitted to GlassCut's servers or any third party — because no such transmission ever occurs in this version of the tool.

2. What we do collect

Because the tool itself doesn't involve a server, our data collection is limited to:

Basic site analytics (if enabled): aggregate, anonymized information such as which pages are visited and which country a visitor is browsing from. This does not include your images or anything you create with the tool.
Payment information (only if and when you purchase image credits): handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not receive or store your card details.
A credit balance tied to a redemption code, stored in our database, so that purchased credits can be tracked. This record does not include your images.

3. Cookies

The tool itself does not use cookies to function. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and disclose what is used.

4. Third-party services

The site relies on the following third-party infrastructure to operate:

jsDelivr (CDN) — delivers the AI model code to your browser.
Netlify — hosts the website files.
Stripe — processes payments, if you choose to purchase credits.
Supabase — stores credit balances tied to redemption codes.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing data they process on their infrastructure.

5. Your rights

Since we don't hold your images or personal browsing data by default, there is generally nothing to request deletion of. If you've purchased credits and want your redemption code and associated record removed from our database, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Children's privacy

GlassCut is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if we introduce a version of the tool that does use a server for processing — we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
